XOOX is an example of the adaptive reuse genre of architecture because, believe it or not, this space was originally a mill and manufacturing unit back in the 70s. The extension of the floor-to-ceiling height makes XOOX perhaps the most voluminous brewery in the country in terms of its elevation. What is also retained of the original building are the columns / beams. The entire space has been built in and around it.
